The point for commercial metering of electricity (PKU) is intended for metering, measuring, collecting, storing and transmitting information about the consumption of electricity in air distribution networks of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz, a nominal voltage of 6 (10) kV.
PKU are used to track factors of unauthorized connection, power take-off and other losses.
PKU can be used as part of automated control systems and metering of electricity (ASKUE), as a data transmitter to the control room.
The PKU is installed at the boundary of the balance accessory on the existing support of the high-voltage line, which does not require additional land allocation and capital structures.
The collection of information on the readings of the electricity meter can be carried out in two modes:
