Mast substations are outdoor transformer substations. They are used in power supply systems of rural areas, summer cottages, agricultural facilities and small industrial enterprises. Installed on reinforced concrete or wooden supports of A-shaped or U-shaped structure, equipped with a platform for maintenance.
Pole substations are mounted on the power grid supports.
